TAB Transportation Priorities

Two rounds of submissions should be made so that Board members can revise their lists, if desired, after seeing ideas from others. TAB should maintain this list as a standing resolution on priorities. TAB members cannot accurately “collaborate” with other boards if we don’t know what the priorities of other TAB members happen to be, yet in my five years serving on TAB, there was almost never any sort of assessment of TAB member priorities. Having each TAB member create such a list (and then consolidating the lists into a single TAB list) would alert staff and elected officials about the priorities of this citizen board (and possibly inform staff and officials of issues they are unaware of). This list should not be priorities about how the Board should operate. Rather, it should be priorities for transportation projects and transportation policies. My transportation priorities are here.
